Biwaze Cough System

Biwaze Cough System is a respiratory therapy system that combines multiple therapies of assisted cough and lung expansion along with high-frequency oscillation, Biwaze™ breaks up and then removes mucus from the lungs by applying positive air pressure (inhale) to the airway and then rapidly shifting to negative air pressure (exhale).

Other airway clearance systems use one pathway for inhaling air and exhaling mucus. The Biwaze uses one pathway in and out.

The Biwaze Airway Clearance System changes the dynamic with dual air pathways separated for inhaling and exhaling flows. This helps ensure the inhaled air is not contaminated with mucus from the exhaled air.

Biwaze is designed to provide cleaner care, easier implementation and is a smarter solution.

To put it simply, Biwaze is a breath of fresh care!

The Biwaze Cough System loosens thick, sticky mucus and therefore decreases lung infections and improves lung function.
BiWaze is a respiratory therapy system that combines multiple therapies. the Biwaze will break up and then remove the mucus from the lungs by applying positive air pressure (inhale) and then rapidly shifting to negative air pressure (exhale).
Product Features:

Oscillations
The Biwaze Cough System offers you Oscillation therapy features that deliver oscillatory therapy based on frequency and amplitude settings. The use of the Biwaze Cough System and oscillation feature enhances your mobilization and improves your bronchial drainage.

Inspiratory Trigger
An important characteristic of the device is its ability to trigger the patient’s inspiration to help synchronize the therapy with the patient.  When the Biwaze Cough System is in Auto Mode, the pressure delivery sequences are synchronized with the patient’s effort to inhale.

Inspiratory Flow
While the exhalation switching is meant to simulate the patient’s coughing, the inspiratory flow can be selected to be comfortable by choosing the desired flow level between low, medium, or high.

Positive Airway Pressure on the Pause Phase
Provides the option to keep airways open in between the exhalation and inhalation phases of the cycle cough. The patient will feel more comfortable using this feature.

Intuitive setup, greater connectivity, cleaner care
